WORLD MILITARY ORIENTEERING CHAMPIONSHIP 2010 |

The Chief of the Norwegian Delegation to CISM, LtCol Steinar Hoegseth, sent today a letter to CISM with the following text: Norway will be able to organize and host the World Military Orienteering Championship 2010. City: Kongsberg. 90 km SW of Oslo. Arrival 16th August and departure 21st August. This week is just after the Civilian World Championship in Trondheim. The stay is one day shorter than normal. What we will leave out will be anounced on this page and in the invitation. Best orienteering regards from minus 32 degress at Elverum, Norway. Harald |

Anne Heikoop the Dutch chief of mission took part in the Masters in Australia. He reports that the competitions were well organised with nice maps (hilly and with a lot big stones) and good coursesetting. He even saw some kangeroes during his races.

Since the championship in Estonia I have been in contact with two more countries. Both said no to organize in 2010. Next year is still open. Please contact me if you have proposals or ideas ! Harald |
