In the middle of the March we started a new orienteering season with a short courses event on Solarske šume map (qualification held in '99 MWG). I was the course setter. In the morning there was still snow on the ground (fallen the night before) but fortunatelly it was melted 1 hour before the first went into the forest. We have a long, too long winter this year :(
Last week we spent in Varaždin at the training camp. Several of us spent somehours in the forest with the map and without a compass ;) We are planning another training camp next month. It is really nice to be with your team mates, and run together. We have one newcomer in the team; to be precise - in the female team.
